Membership Types

Family Two (2) adults & all children 19 years & under living in the same household
Cost $82 for the first 10 months and $72 per month there after by bank or card draft OR $100 joiner fee paid at the time of sign up and $72 per month by bank draft
Single Parent Family A Single Parent & all children 19 years & under living in the same household
Cost $70 for the first 10 months and $60 per month thereafter by bank or card draft OR $100 joiner fee paid at the time of sign up and $60 per month by bank draft 
Adult 20 years & older
Cost $58 for the first 10 months and $48 per month thereafter by bank or card draft OR $100 joiner fee paid at the time of sign up and $48 per month by bank draft
Teen/Student 13-19 years
Cost $30 for the first 10 months and $25 per month thereafter by bank or card draft OR $50 joiner fee paid at the same time of sign up and $25 per month by bank draft
Youth 12 years & younger
Cost $25 joiner fee and $19 for the first month and $19 per month thereafter by bank or card draft
Temporary Memberships Individuals who want to have membership benefits on a temporary basis and does not want to join in accordance with one of the above plans
Cost $90 one-time fee for a One (1) Month Membership OR $170 one-time fee for a Three (3) Month Membership

Methods of Payment

Monthly – Bank or Card Draft

For your convenience, monthly payments are deducted automatically either through bank draft or credit/debit card auto-payment. All that is required is your signed authorization and either a void check or your credit/debit card information. The bank/card draft will be deducted on the 20th of each month for that current month. Membership is ongoing and non-refundable.

Annual – Paid In Full

Simply pay for an annual membership in full by check, cash or credit card. Membership is non-refundable.

Program Payment & Registration

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. You must be a member at the time of registration in order to receive the member rate. We do not do any retroactive refunds. Many classes have minimum and maximum enrollment qualifications.

Membership Privileges

Teen/Adult (16 years and adults)

  • Full use of weight & cardio room and participation in group fitness classes. Teens ages 13-15 years, must complete a Fit Pass consultation with the Health & Wellness Director, before using the cardio and weight room.

  • Use of 25-yard heated lap pool

  • Member rates on special programs
  • Member rates on YMCA Camp Keanae for tenting/camping

Youth (12 years and younger)

Financial Assistance

Financial Assistance is available, to the extent possible, through funds from the YMCA’s Annual Support Campaign and the Maui Untied Way.

Download our Scholarship Application now and bring it in to the Welcome Center to apply. Proof of income required for application to be processed. Expect a processing time of 2-3 weeks until  an award letter is sent to mailing address provided on application.

Membership Policy

  • Membership cards must be scanned at the welcome center desk to access our facilities. The replacement fee for a lost card is $3.00.
  • Membership at the Maui Family YMCA is non-transferable to another YMCA.
  • Membership is non-refundable.
  • Membership may be frozen for a reason that would be acceptable according to the discretion of the Membership Coordinator. Freeze must be at least a minimum of 2 months up to a year maximum. Youth and Scholarship Memberships are not eligible. Request must be submitted in writing. Please feel free to download our Freeze Form and submit it to our Welcome Center or email it to our Membership Coordinator, Adam Alirez, at adam.alirez@mauiymca.org.
  • Notification in writing thirty (30) days prior to requested date of cancellation is required to terminate a membership. Feel free to download the Cancellation Form and turn it in through these methods: Fax to 808-244-6713 attn. Adam Alirez, e-mail the Membership Coordinator, Adam Alirez, at adam.alirez@mauiymca.org or visit the Welcome Center to drop off or fill it out in person.
  • Thirty (30) day notice required to change a membership. This includes upgrades or downgrades of a membership type and billing changes. Feel free to download our Reclassification Form and drop it off to the Welcome Center.
  • Parents are responsible for the safety and supervision of their children at all times. Children under the age of 12 years may not be left unattended in the facility. Unsupervised workouts using cardiovascular equipment or free weights is not permitted prior to age 16 years without a waiver signed by the legal guardian and completion of FIT Pass.   • Should any member debt not be honored by the member’s credit card company or bank for any reason, the member is still responsible for that debt plus a service charge applied by the YMCA. This is in addition to any service fee the member’s credit card company or bank may charge. The membership is subject to termination if the debt is not paid.
