At the YMCA, providing safe, high quality, and enriching experiences for all youth has always been our top priority, and even in today’s world, this promise remains true.

In an effort to provide the safest experience possible during COVID-19, our protocols and procedures are constantly updated with the latest guidance on risk mitigation from several sources including the CDC, ACA, state and local counties.

Although we can’t know for certain what the future holds, we are busy planning summer childcare programs that are SAFE and full of life-changing experiences and unforgettable memories. As we head towards summer, we will continue to update families along the way. Add your name to our email list via the button below to get updates the instant they come out!

Y Emergency Childcare Program

A health crisis puts incredible strain on our health care and infrastructure systems. With limited child care, parents are often forced to choose between work and providing necessary child care.

This is hard for any parent, especially parents in health care services – as missing a day of work may mean less hands providing life-saving care and essential services to members of our community who need it most.

The Maui Family YMCA’s Emergency Childcare Program is designed for Health Care Professionals and First Responders that continue to work during this COVID-19 pandemic.

We are prioritizing those essential employees in our community for care so they don’t have to worry that their children are in a safe place, as they care for a growing number of our loved ones during this difficult time.

Other families in need of care are our next priority and we are using our resources creatively to offer solutions.

We deeply appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
