BLENDED LEARNING PROGRAM
SUPPORTING DISTANCE LEARNING AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
The Maui Family YMCA is offering a Blended Learning Program at the War Memorial Gymnasium – a full day program to fill your child’s day with creative and constructive opportunities to enhance their distance learning and out-of-school experience.
This program is heavily funded by the CARES Act provided by the County of Maui – giving us the opportunity to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children of essential workers.
This site will provide a WiFi enabled learning environment for students to attend online classes with their teachers. Students are encouraged to use school provided or personal devices, including headphones. A limited amount of personal devices are available upon request. Y staff will be available for assistance and support.
As the nation’s leader in health and wellness, the Y understands the importance of physical activity in your child’s daily routine and include outdoor activities into our curriculum.
The Maui Family YMCA will adhere to all COVID-19 Safety Precautions – Reduced Group Size, Face Coverings, Temperature Checks, Physical Distancing, Sanitation Schedules/Access To Hand Sanitizer, Nightly Deep Cleaning & Disinfecting, etc.
We will continue to adapt to community needs and support our families when they need us the most. We are pleased to extend a safe child care option to you and your family, as we all work together through these challenging times.
This program is open to children ages 4 – 12, and will operate from 7:30AM to 5:30PM, Monday through Friday.
*Please remember to provide your child with a snack, lunch, and refillable water bottle.
*Closed for Major Holidays.
*Late pickups, after 5:30PM, will result in a fee of $1 per minute, per child.
Weekly Rate: $20
*Due to Health and Safety Guidelines, weekly attendance curriculum will remain in place regardless of attendance.
