Healthy Kids Day

Saturday, April 20th, 2023
Main Event: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Open Access to the Y ALL DAY (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Healthy Kids Day® is a national annual event celebrated at Y’s across the country to help inspire healthy habits in kids and families. For more than 30 years, Y’s have celebrated Healthy Kids Day® by hosting a free community event focused on active physical play, nutrition education, STEM, and the arts, and much more. This year we are partnering with Care Hawaii’s Malu I Ka Ulu to provide a Community Reunion for all those affected by last year’s wildfire to reconnect with loved ones. We will be opening up the Y facility for everyone to use, activity stations showcasing programs that we offer at the Y, and group fitness class demos, all at completely no cost. At the same time, Malu I Ka Ulu will help us to transform the Y into a place fit for a reunion where all attendees can enjoy live music, access to food trucks, a jumping castle, and space for vendors to set up booths.
