ADULT PROGRAMS AT THE Y
The Maui Family YMCA’s Parkinson’s Fitness program works with those living with Parkinson’s disease. The program curriculum consists of exercises that maintain autonomy and combat the hallmark symptoms of Parkinson’s postural instability, muscle stiffness, balance, and mobility issues.
This program offers a non-contact boxing fitness class which also incorporate balance, coordination, and functional movement patterns geared toward fighting back Parkinson’s disease. An All-Levels version is also offered for those with lower autonomy with various chair exercises.
$15/month for YMCA Members*
$30/month for Potential Members*
*This is a Recurring YMCA Program that will automatically charge the monthly fee either every 20th of the month (along with monthly membership draft if you’re a member) or every 1st of the month (if you’re not a member of the Y). The auto-payments will continue indefinitely until a cancellation request is made. Cancellation request can be made online via the button below or in-person with our Welcome Center.

Need some one-on-one help trying to get in shape? Why not ask one of our wonderful Personal Trainers for help! They will create an entire workout regimen for you and show you the proper form for each move. Don’t be afraid to ask them any question that might come to mind, remember that these are experts!
Every member is given the opportunity to go through a free, one-time fitness orientation to go over how to safely operate all our machines and to answer any questions they might have. Appointments last approximately 30 minutes and are completely free to members. Request an appointment online now below! TEEN PROGRAMS AT THE Y
FIT Pass for Teens
Have a child that is 12 years of age or older? They are eligible to work out! If they are between the ages of 12-15 years of age, they just need a quick 20 minute fitness orientation first. This will cover proper form and safety. Students will gain a better understanding of how the body functions during exercise and proper rules and etiquette of the gym.
